When I used to run, I would always give a shout out, if I was approaching someone that wasn't aware I was behind them....Like "passing on your left"  or something similar....THAT said

Today  we were walking fat- dumb- & happy...and a jogger swooshed by  on my right, from behind...scared the beeeeegeeeebeeees out of me.....

What did Bean do ?   NUTTIN.......I'd say progress ? or she was just TOO preoccupied....It was the same jogger we saw a couple days back.....I'm hoping it was progress...

maybe because you didn't know the person was coming and weren't able to pass that "nervous energy" to bean that she was nonreactive. I haven't been following your story closely, just relating some dog whisperer stuff
