Sweet video. Pollux is lucky to have parents like you who are so devoted him and to documenting his life. Not that he'll care unless he gets a treat out of it

Awww, so I'm sitting here with tears running down my cheeks and who comes to give me a big hug? My 13 3/4 year old Emma. She'll be joining us all in Phoenix at the Nationals in two weeks...and trust me, every day with these guys is a gift.
This is a very special slide show, thank you so much for sharing. Pollux is a sweet, sweet boy! I love it!

Very cute video, and thank goodness, like Kim said, they don't fly the coop like children do. They stay our "children" their whole life..

I haven't been able to view it on my phone, so first thing I did today when I logged into the actual computer was check it out! Very cute!! What a sweet face he has. I love that he got his own cake! I'm going to have to do that for Bells in Sept. on her first birthday!

Thanks all for the kind comments. These dogs really are special creatures and they make me laugh, smile, & shake my head at them all at the same time
So loyal and loving.

They are very special animals.
Mine helped me through a very dark time when my husband was diagnosed with terminal cancer. I am not sure how I would have survived those 2 years without my shorthairs. They always had a way of making me laugh when I needed it the most, but they also knew when I just needed a quiet companion to hang with too. They made wonderful caregivers too with my husband. They kept him up and going even when he felt awful, but they also would curl up with him and watch TV or just hang too. They just know what you need and when you need it.
I have a friend who also has shorthairs and she has been going through a rough patch with medical issues with her kids and we were talking a few weekends ago about how much the dogs help us through those hard times.
They are just very very special. Hugs and kisses to everyone's fur babies.
