I love posting pictures, but I really should get a decent camera. After my last one was stolen I'm using an old one, a whopping 3 mega pixels. So they aren't the best, but you get the point. Practicing for a JH. She's a natural in the water Ready for the long throw done for the day, and staying in the car like momma asked her to. (notice the dog barrier, its there but she rides in the front seat anyways) its me, and this is my favorite thing she does at the dog show the next day, cheering on some cousins. I was secretly hoping the judge would look our way, there were some pretty dogs in there though. back home for the night, new toy destroyed in minutes and two bones because she stole her sister's

Such a pretty girl! Complete with bone and eviscerated toy. People who don't DO anything with theirs dogs miss out on a lot! My favorite is the one with her head on your shoulder.

SCARY! This could have easily been my post. I recognize the NC State F.G. Farm Building, just about all of the Handlers in the ring, several of the Shorthairs in the ring, the rings and mats, Lacey........ SCARY! Guess I've gone to the dogs! How is Lacey doing on birds and in the field for ya? She looks good! I am anxiously awaiting your brags of success in Testing!

Lacey is doing very well on birds. Trainers and I have been impressed if not downright surprised at her natural ability, and with how willing to please she is training her for a SH should come easily. She finds quail and points and holds til somewhere between flush and shot (my trigger finger is slow). Will she point pheasant as easily? I ask because we want to come to the MDGSP Club Hunt Test in March!! Hoping to get a leg or two of her JH there. But Bruce, that is the dog show this weekend in Greenville SC, only about a mile from my boyfriend's place, so we spent some a good bit of time checking out the competition, had to talk him out of a setter once or twice.

DOH! I knew I recognized the building, but thought is was the N.C. site! Lacey was a joy to work with when she was here and about as natural as I could ask to work with. Don't worry about the Pheasants, we will only be doing that at the Fall Test, but I DO think she would handle them just fine. I suspect you will be able to take her to a Master level to be honest. She's a smart gal! Would love to see ya's at the Test! Who is helping you Train, if I may ask?
