spoiled Luna? Every inch down to the bone :) Wouldn't have it any other way. Maybe it's just a scheme for more of what went on yesterday....lots of tall grass, spring breeze, and birds!

Aw, what great pics & great looking dog.

It is my theory that when a dog lays like that on it's own in a relaxed state, it is at it's most happiness.

Nope, can't relate at all ;) ... JK!

The best part of the day is crashing on the sofa with both dogs (and sometimes the hubs) snoring beside me :)

Love those pics. I'm a mean Mom. Just kicked the dogs, dobe & Lucy. off the loveseat yesterday. I think it's Lucy, but 3 times yesterday when I walked into the family room the blankets and seat cushions were on the floor. I have no idea what happens cause everyone is good when I'm in the room. They're not too happy with Mom right now even though they have nice beds on the floor. ;-) BTW, this wasn't the first time.

Awww Luna is a happy camper! We don't let our dogs on the furniture in the living room but they have a futon in the den they can jump on. We don't let them in bed anymore either because they don't fit - our bed isn't big. But this morning Lou was at work and I woke up and had a hard time breathing - I was on my stomach in bed and Velvet was sprawled out on top of me with her nose nuzzling my neck and her doggy breath in my face. Windsor was on the side of the bed pawing at me. Glad they let me sleep in a little!

I knew most people who have GSP's would relate one way or another :) Luna has used her charm to have privileges on the bed in the mornings to snuggle with us too...and with this convinced us to buy a king size bed last year so we have more room to snuggle. She's a terrible influence on us...also convinced us to buy a new car this year so she has more space, now we're owners of a subaru outback too. Oh what we do for our furry kids.

if I could /like this post I would. My two get spoilt rotten as well! But lets be honest, who doesn't love a good snuggle with their GSP? :)

He he, really makes me feel better reading this as i'm considered by my family to be too soft and allowing them too much freedom, but hey who can resist them?  We packed away the tent and moved on to a camper when we got Kintra.  We basically planned everything around and to include her (much to the irritation of some family members ).  As for Keely, her bum was on the sofa before mine when we first brought her home.  And she's now in the bed with us too (not happy about this as i'm a light sleeper and like my space , plus she eats fox poo ).  But a sofa just isnt the same without a dog to cuddle. A certain pet insurance ad over here referred to pets as "the hairy heartbeat of every home"  so they should be spoiled.

Miss you forever Kintra baby xxx

We just bought a new house so 1) the dogs would have room to play inside when the weather is crummy; 2) the dogs would have more room to play outside when the weather is nice; and 3) a nice forest to roam around in when mom and dad aren't working. We also bought a Ford Escape when our last vehicle was written off so we would have more room for the dogs. Do we spoil our dogs? Nah! :D

Just discovered this morning that the new house has built-in entertainment for the dogs too. Bo spotted a couple deer across the street 100 feet from our house this a.m.

Even though we have set some good guidelines for our dogs we do allow our dogs ont he couch...the whole idea of having a dog inside is to be able to snuggle up on the couch and watch TV...the kids each get a dog in bed with them at night...my husband is actually allergic to dogs but not horrible so he doens't mind them on the couch but he can't have them in bed cuz then he starts feeling crappy...I used to sneaky them in the morning after he went to work and I would hear the dogs get up from the kids bed, but now I can't since it bothers his allergies....
