As most GSPs do, my dog has a defined chest. This makes it impossible to find a winter dog jacket, life vest, hunting vest, etc., that fit her correctly. Get it large enough to fit the chest and it is too large for the lower abdomen and vice versa. Anyone know of a site that sells these items specifically tailored to large chested dogs? Would be a big help.

I wouldn't mind getting mine a jacket for fun...but I rarely see large sizes in the store and those are too small for mine (especially in the chest area)...

Check out chillydogs.ca. They fit GSPs really well. We bought RC Pets coats for ours, but Bo is starting to outgrow the chest of his coat. (We've had the coat for 2 years, he will be 5yo in March and his chest is still changing????). I know some people on here have also recommended ruffwear coats.

A friend of mine is a vendor for the Australian Naturals brand coats. I have bought a few for friends who love them. Her dogs are Great Danes and the people I have bought them for are GSP. Let me know if you want her name and she will be happy to help.

Hi. This brand seem to do a lot of adjustable clothing and for all sizes. Some of the stuff is expensive but it seem to get good reviews for quality: http://www.hurttacollection.com/en/
