I am considering getting my own place and it has a. Small yard will the German shorthair do ok in a small yard? I currently have a border collie would a gsp get along with a border collie some family has a farm

Shorthairs typically get along with most any dog. The question is would the border collie accept another dog? The small yard is ok as long as you plan on making sure your dog gets plenty of exercise too. Be sure you have at least a 6 foot fence if you plan on keeping the dog in the yard. In a small yard a shorthair might get bored and try to escape.

Mine have just the back yard to run around in and we have 8 feet of fence because of all the deer around here but as long as you can take them where they can really run and walk them alot you'll be good!
