Love the videos. Keely is so cute and smart. She loves her duck and the tennis ball.

Thanks.  I think she's definately going to love the ball, it's already been a favourite over all the other toys (even duckie!).  We're keeping it as a special treat at the moment and only allowing periods of play with it, and not allowing her to chew it.  She's so smart, i really forgot just how smart these dogs are, even as young pups!

Absolutely adorable!

It is watching the dogs work that I thoroughly enjoy, and love. I could get by with just watching them work - if it weren't for all the training, and the joy they exhibit when they pick-up, and deilver to hand a bird that they pointed, and you shot. - Todd

Thanks for the compliments  I can see a difference in her already and she's certainly making herself at home, she got comfortable really quickly and has settled into our routine.  Got her urine sample results and it turns out she has vaginitis so no antibiotics, just a "cleaning kit".

I've been trying to get photos of her outside but its been pretty grim out there and she's a bit timid of the wind but i'll try to get some today as it's brightening up, and we're expecting snow tomorrow, wooohoooo  Here's some insidey ones in the meantime:

Taking advantage of a rare sunny (but cold) day:

Hmmm, think i made the jacket just a little too big, but at least its cosy:

Thank goodness for chicken wire.  She's really keen to explore:

I LOVE all the puppy pictures!!!!
This is probably the best age. They sleep, eat, play hard and sleep some more.

I love all the puppy pictures too. I think her coat is perfect and she will grow into it fast enough.

So true. i'd forgotten just how quickly they tire out and fall asleep almost instantly. We tired her out chasing the kong tennis ball this morning which allowed me a window of 30 mins to put up the xmas tree. She then woke up and started attacking the fabric baubles at the bottom but she's pretty much ignoring the tree now.

Thanks. I'm in the process of making a waterproof outer cover for it too so she'll be fully kitted out. She's so very determined to go outside now (especially to poo) so i should be able to put one on very quickly if it's raining or snowing, but she's such a hardy wee thing, she doesnt seem to care about the weather now, even the wind doesnt bother her now.

My youngest girl who is now almost a 1.5 YO will go out no matter the weather. She just came in a few minutes ago soaking wet with muddy feet, but at least it isn't too cold right now. Last year we had snow when she was only about 5 months old and I couldn't get her to come in. I never put coats on my dogs because I want their natural nice winter coat to come in. Mine stay out allot during the day if it isn't storming. Their choice too. Of course our winters probably aren't as cold as yours. Average temps for us are in the 40s during the day.
