A member on the board has lost her dog. Beth Devries took her 9 mo old pup Rumor out hunting today in the area of Muskegon/Grand Rapids MI. Rumor is lost in the woods, has been gone for some time. She is wearing a neon pink collar with name/number on it, she also has a hunt beeper collar on. PLEASE if you hear of anyone who has seen a black/white GSP, female, solid black head contact me at 412-901-1051. I am putting my number out there because where they are looking Beth's phone has very bad service. I can hopefully get a text to her if Rumor is found by someone.
Also, any one in that area who might be able to help look for Rumor in the morning please contact me via text and I will get Beth in touch with you once I hear from her this evening.
Those who can't help, please PRAY that Rumor returns to the area where they have left her blanket and a jacket for her to find and they find her in the morning if not even yet tonight.

Can you give more specific location? I have some friends/family out around Grand Rapids/Holland that may be able to help.

It is watching the dogs work that I thoroughly enjoy, and love. I could get by with just watching them work - if it weren't for all the training, and the joy they exhibit when you pick-up a bird that they pointed. - Todd |

If you are familiar with the MI area she is up in the Manistee National Forest. If you take Comstock up to 8 mile and head east there are a couple clear cut areas out that way between stone and croswell. She has her day glo pink collar with name plate attached and an ecollar and beeper collar as well.

Read this on facebook on my way back from Pensacola, FL for an agility trial and was very upset. I cannot imagine losing one of my dogs. Hope Rumor is found very, very soon. |

I'm about 3.5 hrs. away, but have sent to a couple of dobe friends in the area to be aware of and to forward on to others. |

Hoping enough people can help out so, someone will be able to stay close to the area as she may find her blanket but may not stay with it since she is so young! |

Mel posted on FB that they have a Rumor sighting but she won't come to the guy. He is staying in the area until Beth arrives. Praying she will be home soon.

| I see that Beth and Jeff are there now but Rumor is still avoiding them...Poor pup is scared so now they just have to set the food out and let her catch their scent and realize mommy and daddy are there to take her home... |
