Rocky is 6 years and 3months old and tipped the Vet scale at 90.9 lbs Effects of short icy snowy winter cold days. Will be happy when Rocky can do some LONG RUNS in green grass to run off the lbs

It wouldn't be because of a man, would it? Thats what usually causes us to do things when we should know better.

My last pointer would gain a bunch over the winter and lose it all in the summer. Molly seems to stay about the same year round.

This has been an unusually cold winter here. They figure they will be skiing well into June in the mountains.

Aw....Jackson can run for Rocky.... he is still not at his full weight yet... not sure what it will be, but in FL we do not have an excuse...I hope you guys are staying warm up there...and getting around all that snow!!   At what age do they actually stop growing?  He is just about 10 months and seems to be growing quite a bit this month.  It is rainy here today and will be warming up this weekend...I wish I could bottle up the sun and send it to you all!

Your right, it was because of a man Actually I would never move back to CA, I love the snow, the hunting & fishing , the everything is green, etc.! & its not like I didn't know it could happen. On our first date he told me " I am not staying in CA, I hate it here, I like to hunt fish & shoot guns" . I was a widowed mother who had never shot a gun, fished or hunted LOL, guess it has worked, just had our 22 anniversary! , & I love to fish, hunt & shoot guns. We used to shoot in a Law Enforcement Competition pistol team & my first shoot I came in 2nd place out of over 100 women.

Oh yea, did I say I like the snow???? I think my brain is frozen, tehe

When I was a state auditor I traveled to a lot of different areas of the U.S. We also made a lot of trips to California when both of our sons were living there. Although I prefer not to travel there in the winter I have to admit that the midwest and upper midwest is probably the prettiest part of the country and the people are so laidback and friendly. My best friend of 60+ years checks up on my 93 year old mother a couple of times a week and runs errands for her.

Marie---In that last picture it looks like Rocky just got waxed and polished.

Here is our latest dump....

Osiris is still deciding if he likes it or not.  He won't stay out in it too long, and he hates peeing it it.  He does NOT like the snow touching his weiner!!  LOL

Navilla

Nice picture. I would have put a wreath with a big red bow on the door, had the dog sitting in front of it and had my Christmas 2008 pictures done and printed.

We got another big dumping of snow in Ottawa, about a foot and a half. Here are some pics:

The chainlink fence surrounds our pool and is 5 feet high. The wrought iron fence faces the driveway. Good thing the banks are now so tall the dogs can't even get up them!

A boy and his dog.... Moka stands on Braden's snow shoes to try to get out of the snow.

I sure hope this is it for snow. We're ready for spring!!

Good for you for getting out and getting some pix, Gail. I'm just too depressed at the moment to even think about going out! There's still a few roads at our end of town that still aren't plowed out. One good thing, this really does wear Bo out running in the snow.

Joce,

Our road didn't get plowed til almost 4pm today.... We didn't get to the agility trial yesterday. I've pretty much had it with snow and shovelling too. My husband took last week's pics but he couldn't be bothered this week.

Here is Mike in Cancun on the Beach. Mike is a self discipline work out person, unlike his parents. When Rocky goes up and spends a week with Mike. My Vet calls it "Rocky goes to MIke's Fat Camp."

Yes Mike is single and says 'I am a total package" A 2003 college UW Lacrosse graduate. Has a solid job as an internal auditor  in the Twin Cites and travels USA and Canada with his company. He goes to church and loves to sing in the choir!! He loves mountain biking and basketball!! And he absolutely LOVES ROCKY!!!   All our other dogs Mike didnot care for. ROCKY IS OUR FIRST TRUE DOG!!!In MIkes opinion. Of course as we all know GSP are athletes just like MIke!!  Mike planned this Cancun Spring Break with his college Buds as they all have been out of College for 5 years. He just returned yeaterday and went back to work today!! At the end of this month  Mike is coming home to hunt a full weekend with Rocky on our local pheasant game farm.  Mike has dated different girls, but none of them have met up to his standards. So he is 27 years old still waiting to meet the right one!!!From his Mom's opinion MIke's girl would have to be athletic too.. Early riser, love NBA and shoot some hoops, work out at a health club, fish and love GSP's!!! One day MIke will meet his dream girl PS Mike did meet Ranger and preferred  Ranger's smaller size than Rocky's hefty size

Navilla - Is that a celica?
Nice to see all the snow elsewhere for a change. We were in the 30's today. Calling for 35 tommorow. GOD I hope so. Way too long of a winter.
Now how about a single lady in a bikini for all the guys on here?! LMAO!
