It's -20 in Ottawa today too ... I think this is where Farenheit and Celsius run into each other :)

I don't know about you, Joce but I'm getting sick of being cold!! Spring seems pretty far away..... The extended forecast is showing temps around 0 for early next week. I've been putting off riding my horse all week because it's been so cold. After an hour out with the dogs, I can't bring my self to go ride. Today's the day!

At last the sun is shining :) (no snow this weekend, yet ...)

Rich has started running Bo 2 miles each day, and between that and the cold, we have a VERY tired puppy at night :)

Tucker doesn't go near it & the little dock was made for Ruger & he only goes on that. Haven't had Gunner here in the summer yet sooooo, probably a electric wire coming for this summer LOL Oh & there are no fish in there, he just thinks there is

Absolutely love the Pond Pictures and at -15 degrees this morning I think all will welcome spring. Will add these 2 pond pics to my flower folder. Thank you.

I love your lilly collection. My husband got me roses and lilies for Valentine's Day and the smell of the lilies fills the house.

Our first two GSPs hated water so we didn't have to fence the ponds. Molly on the other hand is crazy about the ponds. When she was a puppy I came home from work to find her on the wall of the small pond with her head entirely under water dragging a water lily up off the bottom of the pond. Then she kept taking the palm out of the big pond. I would retrieve it and no matter where I put it in the pond, she would drag it out. We decided to make it the sacrificial plant but after she killed that she started in on another and another. After three years we decided that maybe she had forgotten about getting in the ponds and removed the fence. In less than 10 minutes she was back in the pond. She doesn't seem to bother the fish---just the plants. I have had some of the fish for 10 years.

This is awesome!  It's like he is saying "AHHHHH...... cool water!!!"
I wish we could get Osiris to enjoy his baby pool.  We had it all filled up this summer, and all he did was drink out of it and chew on the sides!

When I lived in Ca.    We had three labs...and a water shortage = brown lawn

We'd fill up the dog pool and they'd run jump and shake water all over the lawn..it helped a little, but the dogs  did love it......

Speaking of riding  ( horses )......I'm such a woos......it was 53 degrees when I got back from walking Bean...Greg wanted me to go for a motorcycle ride.......TOO cold for me...

We were close to that here too. It's supposed to be below zero tonight though! I am so ready fro spring. Only drawback is muddy paw prints and muddy undercarriage on them from running through the puddles. That's going to be another set of posts for that.
