Get ready my friends in Michigan, we in Southwest Wiscosin are under another winter storm warning. We are supposed to get another 8-10" of snow tomorrow.
Looks like it is headed your way, with 25mph winds.
Ughhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

| Do you guys get the red "winter storm alert" on your weather web site? On the Weather Network web page for Ottawa, we have seen that bleeping red band so often this winter, it's actually a shock when we DON'T see it. Grrr ... now the forecast is DEFINITELY for freezing rain tomorrow. Joy! |

| Everbell we do get the winter storm alert on our weather pages and yes it has been on alot this winter. This will be our 9th big snow storm this winter. Our area is forecasted to have 10 plus inches from snow storm Isabella. It will begin around 6 am tomorrow and snow about an inch an hour all day. We could possibly get 15 inches on top of the newly 10" we just received from Snow Storm Howard. We may just have to open our window and let Rocky jump out to do his business monday morning if we cannot open the doors!!! |

get ready, the freezing rain just started here.
It is supposed to change over to snow and then winds of 30 mph by noon.
Looks as though it is supposed to last all day and into tonight |

Good to know Hogan, thanks. Not sure if freezing rain or snow would be better, but we have nowhere to put the snow anyhow ....
Marie, sure hope Rocky doesn't have to jump out the window.... although, come to think of it, if he does, you will HAVE to get a picture  |

| Thank you Evervell, I will be getting some pictures of the storm when the big flakes come. We like Hogan have sleet pouring from the skys causing ice. Our Minister called and camceled our sunday church service as it would be greatly hazardous for the many elderly we have in our congregation may fall causing injuries. Rocky went outside did what he had to do and quickly came back in the warm house. |

| I knew that they named hurricanes but I was not aware that they named snowstorms. Learn something new every day. We had a Christmas storm one year that left us unable to get out the back door. The dog would not do her business out front so we had to lower her through the family room windown to a bare spot near the house. It is blowing so hard here that if we had snow it would be a blizzard. |

| We just got that darned storm today. Like 2 inches of ice on everything. The back roads are an ice rink. Now I have to hope for more snow to cover the ice for traction! What a winter! |

| Yup ... the hubby took Bo out for a pee and Bo pulled him down our driveway (it's only two-car lengths long, but it has a bit of an incline ... it's aboe O Celsius now, so we're into rain. It's going to be a mess tomorrow! |

fortunately we lucked out this time.
Not near the storm here as predicted. I would guess 5-6", but was warm enough that it did not blow to bad.
Will have a bit of plowing in the morning. Not exactly the way I had plannned on spending the day though.
Presidents day tomorrow, and I was planning on brewing beer, but that will have to wait until next weekend. |

This was taken this morning of Rocky's backyard before I got called into work as I live in town and 1 mile from my job. Country Nurses called in today. We got about 8 inches of snow so far and it may be over.Not as bad as they forcasted. |

Spring is showing early this year, Here in the Pacific Northwest...I'm seeing a lot of flowers ( crocus ) shooting through the soil....No blooms just that beautiful green sprout reaching for the sun....
Hang in there guys...at least you don't have to mow YOUR lawns yet
