Hello,
First time dog owner, picked up my gsp 4 weeks ago at 8 weeks old. Name's Boomer. Been quite the handful to say the least. But, hope remains. There seem to be a lot of very knowledgeable people on here with solid advice. Looking forward to contributing to the community .
Oh, did that personality test that was in the other thread. He's a Rebel.
Here's a few pics:

Cheers. |

Welcome to the forum and to the ownership of a GSP! Very cute puppy. And have you picked a name, or did the personality test decide a name already! |

Thank you
I stuck with the name the breeder gave him because it was so fitting. His name is Boomer. |

Looks can be deceiving
For example, it took about 30+ tries to take the camo sweater picture... he simply refuses to sit still for anything other than meal time, lol. |

Welcome to the forum and congratulations on owning your first puppy!! Great choice of breed! You will find this forum a life saver and yes the members on here are very knowledgeable, experienced, and happy to offer advice. Love the pictures of the cutie..especially the camo coat picture...he looks so innocent in that picture. LOL we all know that they can be a handful at times...that is when I would log onto this site....use the search function....and read all the stories about other members raising their puppies and then was happy to find out that my puppy was not the only terror at times Made me feel soooo much better and able to handle the puppy situations! Enjoy your new puppy, Jolene |

AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!! He's so beautiful! Welcome, and congrats! I'm a first time dog and GSP owner (that would be pointing out the obvious), and this forum has been a godsend for me. GSP puppy pictures always make me imagine what Isa would've looked like as a puppy, since we got her as an adult rescue. So, so, so cute. |

So cute! I too picked up my new puppy 4 weeks ago at 8 weeks. Been quite the handful to say the least. I completely believe you!!! Sophie is a total terror... but already I can't imagine my life without her. Even when she's bad, she looks at me with her little face and I just melt |
