Today we take posession of our new puppy, and we are at a bit of a loss wrt contracts and so on. Aside from the fact that it feels weird to have a contract for a living thing, we have no idea what should be in such a contract.

The family we are buying from is not a "pro" breeder (don't know the correct lingo sorry!) so there is no default contract that he is using.

Can anyone provide a link to a good starting point, or maybe email me one? We'd really appreciate it. We don't want to mess this up, but we're so eager to get her that we're afraid of forgetting something important. My email is the.miked at yahoo.com
