I thought this would be another fun thread. Let's see what you have for action shots.

I brought the girl's out the other day for some fun in the sun. It has been so cold here that the girl's don't want to be outside. So I was snapping some pictures and when I went through them I caught this picture.....

Everytime I look at this picture I can't help but start laughing.  The expression on Star's face and Angel in mid flight....priceless.

I have to add these ones b/c they are funny. First the story, I was on vacation at a lake cottage with my parents and they brought Benny, my ACD's brother. He's not into dock jumping, but he was all about waiting in the water at the end of the dock, where he couldn't touch so he tried to stand on his back legs, with his head sticking out of the water, and tried to jump up and get Oskar in the air as he jumped! Then he would herd him back as they swam back to shore.

Here's the "troll" Benny:

Now trying to get Oskar:

Now herding him back in the water:

I dont think they do that around here. I really dont want him jumping into the water like that either. Last thing I need is for him to jump on a submerged rock or log.

Looks fun though.

Where are you located? There are more and more dockjumping events all over the country, and the events are safe--they are into pools so no rocks. I love seeing more GSP's in the sport.

Here is my Blaze winning 1st place in a Sprint race.

Here she is getting mad that she has to pull more weight at her 2nd weight pull ever. This was only 805 lbs & she had pulled 1060 lbs on her 1st pull so I knew she could do more.

Here is Gandalf looking like a corps being eaten by the puppies when they were only 10 weeks old.

A lot of hunters are afraid that if the dog jumps like this at competition it will do that in the field as well. That is very far from the truth. The dogs know the difference! I hunt with our GSP's and they don't even come close to jumping like that out hunting. They take their time and go in when hunting. After all there is no long dock, crowd, tents set up around the area, dummies to retrieve, mom is in her hunting gear, there is a gun, there are no leashes (whoo hoooo) and so on.....

Some of these pictures with the ears flying look like they should be lableled "Ready for takeoff". Bean is lucky to have all that nice sand to run in. I broke my third toe in 2 years because I hate wearing shoes. I need a nice pristine beach to walk on.
