I hope everyone who got hit by Hurricane Irene is safe.  We got hit last week and just got power back today - 8 days later.  We were on a small generator that we got last winter and it did the job - hot water, light in the living room and lanterns did the rest.  We feel very blessed as some people I work with lost their homes, we just had some branches in the yard and many streets had heavy tree damage.  Anyway, pics were taken with Windsor and Velvet hanging out with Grandma.  We were able to get one channel on TV and had a light so she came over and the dogs were hanging with her.  They were angels through the entire storm.  And great watch dogs as I was nervous because some people were starting to lose it - can't say I blame them but that part was scarey but we were safe and sound.
