Thank you everyone!!!!
Continuing in his weird ways apparently this was NOT cancer - it was a pseudo tumor
They think that he had some sort of trauma to the top of his pelvis and it reacted with a fibrous inflammatory response
In 30 yrs the vet has never heard of this LOL
That's my boy!
Thank you all so much for the prayers, hugs, and thoughts. It was a terrible 10 days. I have poured heart and soul into my boy and he is so vibrant and crazy. There's isn't a gray hair on him and I really couldn't imagine him leaving us so soon.

I am sure I aged 10 yrs in those 10 days but yes the relief is amazing. i feel like I could sleep for a week - I haven't been sleeping much!
We really did dodge a bullet - we were at the vet's getting the incision checked (fine but would be better if he wasn't so active and kept opening it) the vet that has been our primary since B was a pup said can you believe it? He said they were all concerned because of the characteristics of the tumor they were thinking it was going to be extremely bad news.
