Video and pics are great. What is it with wood? Lucy has cut my pussy willow bush almost to the ground. I worry about splinters.

Dax loves to chew sticks. If you let him alone for a minute he'll find a stick. Doesn't seem to eat them, just chew em to pieces haha

Didn't you know shorthairs are part beaver?

Love the tongue full of wood shavings

Yep, stick chewer in my house, too. Well... outside, sticks are dropped and left by the front door!

Great pictures! And my dog is a chewer as well. He used to have free run of the back yard while I was at work. Until, 10 monkey grass plants, 3 indian hawthorne bushes, two crepe myrtles, and two other green bushes were destroyed. Oh...and parts of the deck.

I added a fence to section off the back natural section. The top half of an old rotting tree had fallen in there a year or so ago during a storm. In the past two months he has been back there, he has almost chewed that tree down to nothing. It's amazing!

All of mine love sticks.......completely destroying them is the ultimate goal.

We quickly came up with the nickname "Mulching Morgan" after she came to live with us. :P

Remi likes finding sticks that have been buried under the leaves/dirt or snow picking them up carefully and shaking them before ultimate destruction takes place. ;)

The video is adorable.

Only, if my dogs picked up sticks I'd be crying.
I CAN"T IMAGINE sending my dogs on a woods search or a drag at a test and having my dog bring back a STICK.
Well, actually I can imagine - and it AIN'T pretty!

I think I would rather have my dog bury game.

Max was just out in the back helping me get firewood. He is a riot I set up a shoot to fill firewood in the basement. He squeezes between the shoot and the door & grabs a piece of firewood and takes it out into the yard. At the end of the winter when the snow melts there is firewood spread about the yard.
