I haven't posted many photos lately, so here are some from our fun-filled versatile weekend:

Working on the frisbee skillz at the park:

Sunday morning hunt - last of the season:

After 3 hours of hunting, we stopped in Smalltown, USA for some sightseeing and photo shooting. My friend said "Tessa can rest in the car" and I said "Oh no, she's ready for her walk now." Gotta love a GSP!

Nikon D200 with a 16-85mm Nikkor lens (decent but not exactly high-end). Nikon's sensor produces great colors, I also use a polarizer filter and only shoot in good light. Some post-processing but basically just cleaning up a bit. LOTS of post-processing on the third one LOL, it was wrongly exposed so I had to get artsy.

The real skill went into the first two, because I have to throw the frisbee and take the photo pretty much at the same time.= :)

I was gonna ask if you took the pic and threw the frisbee...amazing skill! What is the saying never delete a bad pic just do some photoshop on it and turn it into art!

I am getting into taking photos...I am taking a second class today...right now I have a point and shoot but it has option for manual...

Just shoot a lot! That's what I do! BTW I don't have THE Photoshop, just Apple and Nikon software, much less involved and keeps me fairly honest...

That IS talent throwing the frisbee and getting the photo!!

I have a Canon Rebel XT and so far I love it.......just need to get a few more lenses for it, and learn all of the functions properly! :/

How much does Tessa jump for the frisbee? Bentley jumps now n then but usually just catches it on the run. I need to get some photo's uploaded of him doing it i guess.

Tessa LOVES to jump and catch things mid-air. Sometimes she even twirls - you can kinda see it on the second one.

Next to me throwing and operating the camera at the same time, another difficult thing is to catch the dog with enough air so that the upper body is silhouetted against the sky. Easy on a beach of flat field, almost impossible in GA where there is always some tree line. That means I have to get lower and/or Tessa has to jump higher. Fog is good because it makes for a neutral background.

I'm really impressed with your frisbee throwing ability!

(it doesn't do much for steady to wild flush,but.....
it's a lot of fun)
