I'm curious as to how many of you have to get up in the middle of the night to take fido out to do his buisiness?

Chase has always been good about sleeping through the night until recently. Now he wants to go out two, sometimes three time a night. I'm going nuts about it. He always slept in his crate until the hubby decided to let him sleep on his own bed while I was out of town a few months ago, so I am putting him back in his crate tonight and hope he doesnt whine too much . He has a clean bill of health. so thats not it, and we go running for about two/three miles a day on top of play time.

I thought my kids would never sleep through the night and as soon as they do, the dog doesnt!!! Oh what I give to have uninterupted sleep again, sighs.

How offten do you feed your kido's? We found if we wait for their last feeding until like 8 pm or later we tend to have to get up in the middle of the night. Also we went through this a bunch when our female was in full pregnant mode. Just like a person full bladder....:-) Good luck!

The only time we have had to do this recently is upon return from a kennel ... I figured it was just a disrupted pattern. Bo did this for 2 nights and then was back to normal.

It seems speratic. Some nights he is great and others he just has to go. I feed him the Am to keep him from having to go at night. We also let him out at bedtime around 10 pm and he has to go out again around 12-1 and then around 2-3am. after that he can sleep until 9-10 am and doesnt want to move a muscle until then. I think his clock is out of whack. I have to be up at 5 so I am not getting much sleep these days and getting grumpy. I'll see how it goes tonight with him in his crate. Thanks for your responses and have a wonderfull evening, Andrea
