Gunner turned 9 months today! He is 57lbs and 25.5" at the shoulder!

We started our advanced training class and are hoping to get his Canine Good Citizen at the end of class.

Here are a few pictures of the beast... sorry my camera is really terrible inside I can't figure out how to not make his eyes green! Ugh.  They make him look crazy!

Here he is the day I picked him out: (4 weeks 5 days)

The day I brought him home: (7 weeks 5 days)

And now... (crazy demonic eye dog)

I'll post better pictures after our hunt Saturday if it's not cancelled.

Gun and really turned out nice and so grown up too. Good luck on the hunt Sat. Can't wait to see pictures. As to the green eye, get a flash where you can angle the light so it does not point directly at the dog. You are getting the reflection on his lens. Same as red eye in humans only none of the photo editing apps auto cleanup the green eyed demon in dogs.

Or don't use a flash :)

I can't see picures at work but i'll check them out at lunch time. Happy birthday Gunner!! Sniffs and tail wags from this side of the pond.

Phil, if I don't use a flash my camera goes blurry - bizarre, I know. ;)

Positive thoughts for your hunt on Saturday.

I really like his looks.  Appears to be well put together. ;-)

Definitely waiting for Sat. pictures.

Thanks everyone!

Thom, I am stacking-stupid. No idea how to even do it, though maybe I can try!

If not, I'll try to get some on point shots this weekend though so you can get a side view! Hopefully he rocks the field and we get all our birds! (and i don't miss any shots... hahahaha)

It's for my electric fence. He ate the plastic buckle on the original one so we had to improvise... it was the thinnest collar I could find! Pretty fancy... Burberry-esque!

Handsome boy and much better pictures. I am very partial to his ticking too, but then two of my girls are marked like he is. ; )

Wow!  What a good looking dog he is turning into.

I have a quaestion about ticking.  Lucy, my foster seems to be getting more than when i first brought her home at 11.5mos.  She is now 16.5mos.  Do they continue to color in or am I just seeing things. ;-)

NancyD - They do continue to get darker as they get older. When a shorthair is born the ticked area is solid white and the only liver are the solid liver areas like the head and large patches. As they age the ticking starts to show up and gets darker as they get older.
