Ok, ok. Hint #2: Returned an interception for an 86 yard TD in 1969. |

Knows Ray, but no. Doug Hart, # 43 in your program and #1 in your Hart. He played for 9 years starting in the Lombardi era. Defensive back. Corner back for several years, then safety.
He is sitting in my living room right now. Anything you want to know about the old days, just ask and I will try get him up off the couch to answer you. |

The Giants definately outplayed the Pats.
On another note, you would think that as Coach of the Year, Bill Belichek could have shown a bit more class at the end of the game.
His interview lacked eloquence, and his running off of the field before the clock ran out was in very poor taste. |

| Didn't even get to watch it. It was on fox 33 here and I don't have satellite! Bummer. My patriots lost, my son is so upset about it! |

| The New York Giants are an inspiration to us!!! They were the UNDERDOGS! As Eli Manning said on Sports Center shown this morning."No one believed in us, but it didnot matter because we believed in ourselves." That positive attitude is alll that mattered to the New York Giants!! So for young Fans on this board, in your life when faced with large hurdles and hear others say to you, "No you cannot do this or that. You will never be able to do that". You can turn around and face that negative person and say," Yes I can, I have the spirit, talent and drive"!!!!! You can do it even if you have many odds against you. You can be like the first wild card team in the NFC to ever win the Super Bowl, the New York Giants!!!! |

All radio and TV news stations are announcing NOW, that Brett Farve IS retiring after 17 seasons with the Green Bay Packers.
I used to go to the games at the church of Lambeau, but gave the season tickets up to my ex when we got divorced. I got the dogs; I think it was a fair deal. tehe.
If you've never been to Lambeau to see a game, you have not lived. I'm not a huge football fan, but it IS an experience to be there. Even if it's twenty below zero degrees outside.

| We named Alabama male we got in, Brett, for our number four! The dog, Brett, is very much a southern gentleman, like #4. I'm sure Wisconsin will miss him and his family... |

I have grown up being a Packers fan mostly because I am a die hard Edmonton Eskimos fan and we have the same color scheme, and the green and gold looks good no matter who wears it. We also share the fact that both teams have a long and glorious history. I got a little misty today when I heard the Favre had retired, it is the end of an era. Newton |

It is definately a sad day, although it was time. The champiionship game really sewed the whole thing up. |

Oh my gosh--thanks for the news, Marie!!! Noah will be so excited when I tell him!
Last week, I told him Brett had been caught talking to Daryl Bevel (his former QB coach, who's now the Vikes' OC, for those of you not in the area) and he literally had tears in his eyes. His hero considering the ultimate betrayal?
All the while, Sam (a Vikings fan) used the news to endlessly torment Noah (his favorite pasttime).
Ahhh... Noah will be so relieved!
#4's biggest fan & future Packer...
