Bev, suffice it to say that January was a VERY long month!
 

The first 3 weeks, we were changing bandages every other day.  Around Day 21 was when we saw a significant turn and the Vet told us to remove the bandages so as to allow the wound to "air dry".   By Day 28 we knew we were in the clear as everything just came together on the suture line.  I think Katy wants us to take the "cone of shame" and burn it in effigy in our backyard!  If she NEVER sees that thing again- it'll still be too soon!

Thanks to all for your thoughts, words of support & prayers.  Now it's time to get this little spitfire broke out.
