Well, 6 mnths tomorrow that is!
Coming along well, deer season is finally over & I can get him back out again, snow even melted off over the weekend, hopefully it stays down for a while!!! (had up to 4ft in areas)

| Thanks Bev! He will be in his first show in 2 weeks. He's very leggy right now so not holding my breath, this will be a "training day" and see how he does at an indoor show. |

Nitro looks so natural and relaxed in his Stacked picture. Love the snow pic with his orange collar. What a handsome boy and only 6 months old. |

Bev, Nitro hasn't been shown yet, 2 weeks to go. His chances are slim going in with him being a white and a puppy. I am using this show more as a learning thing for him since I will be there anyway, am showing a Chessie there. |

What show are you going to be at? I didn’t enter but was thinking about going to watch at the Novi show the weekend of the 22nd. Didn’t know if maybe you were coming to MI to show. He is a handsome boy. Good luck!

Beth, won't be at Novi, to far for me with an oldster here not doing well & an unreliable vehicle, wish I could, major hunting right now for Jesse. Nitro not ready for a show that size.
Thom, thanks!! The term "stacked" is how we present them in the show ring, as you already guessed by the threads on it. I primarily do field events, but I show mine some also.
Stacking is when we set the dogs legs for them, we also want them to "freestack" or set themselves in a show stance, this is Nitros big brother Jesse freestacking (he has his Christmas danner on here, show right before Christmas -took off before going in ring of course!!)

Well good luck at your show. Can't wait to hear how you do. I am skipping Novi as I am showing the weekend before in UKC to try to finish Cody's grand there so don't have the money for both. |
