We've started letting Remi sleep with us a few nights now. We started off with just letting him sleep with us for a few hours before our alarm goes off. He's now slept with us for two full nights and a few nights of just a few hours.
What a bed hog! Nallah always starts out in bed with us, then gets too hot or frustrated with Morgan who is another bed hog so she goes downstairs to sleep on the couch. Morgan stays in bed with us all night. She usually sleeps outside the covers inbetween our legs,OR if she's cold she will curl up in a ball up in between our pillows.
I've found out that Remi prefers to be under the blankets and snuggled as close to me as possible. I love having a cuddler but it sure makes for a cramped night of sleep! Last night he was under the covers either spooning me or curled up next to my feet. What a goofball. He is nice and warm though so I can't complain!
So where do your GSP's sleep?

| With the exception of Fauna who is only 4 months old, pretty much anywhere they want and at any time. Ringo sleeps with me more often than the girls. Halo will come get in bed with me sometimes about 2 hours before the alarm goes off. Belle usually gets in bed with me when I am watching TV or reading, but when the light goes out she goes and gets on the sofa in the family room most often. The puppy, Fauna, is in her crate at night and when I am gone, but otherwise she is loose, but always in the room where I am at. |

Anyplace he wants and it usually includes a money shot! My big guy likes to get under the covers and lay on my legs. I just bought 2 dog beds one for each of the knuckleheads, and they should take to em. If I make up beds for them on the floor they will crash there so I'm hoping they will like their own spaces. |

My younger boy, 2 1/2 will go into his crate around 6-7:30 pm and stay there until I wake him up at around 6am. The crate is in bedroom,on my side. Haiko sleeps next to my daughter on the rug and in his crate. He tends to walk during the evening. No dogs allowed on furniture. In fact, Bregon is in his crate now sleeping and Haiko is in his. If done correctly, dogs will love their crates. |

| Remi does love his crate......its just that I love having them sleep with us too! We work all day so he and Morgan are in crates and I like to give them a break from the crate at night and be with us. He goes in his crate willingly so no issues there. |

Well, during the day when we aren't home he has free reign of the living room he's almost always on the couch when I get home. At night... sprawled out upside down or curled into a teeny tiny ball smushed as close as possible if not on top of me - under the covers. Just bought a king thinking I'd have more room... nope - I still get 6 inches of bed. Go figure! Sometimes he'll get hot and sprawl out on the floor but ususally it's in bed with a paw or his head or something touching me. On top of that he goes to bed before I do so either the boyfriend or I have to lift 50+ pounds of dead weight that takes up 75% of the bed all sprawled out. He is a terrible bed hog and if he keeps it up he's getting sent to the spare room where he can take up as much as he wants. We always said we didn't want him in bed with us but he is super warm and how can you resist the puppy dog eyes? |

HA HA HA HA!!! Those were my husbands exact words when we got dogs! "No dogs in bed! No dogs on the furniture!" He was the one who broke that rule, he's such a softy!!!
Of course I love it too! |

Blitz sleeps in bed with my oldest son and Striker sleeps in bed with my youngest son...each dog knows when I say "go night night" which room and bed to get into... My husband will not let the dogs sleep in bed with us...if I am reading or watching TV in bed they will come up with me...then my husband gets mad and says the bed stinks of dog and complains about his allergies, LOL! I tell him the dogs don't stink and his allergies are a figment of his imagination, I know I am mean...so needless to say my husband washes the bedding alot! As for during the day when I am home they sleep where ever..sometimes if I am on the computer Blitz will even go into his crate to sleep cuz it is by the computer desk...Blitz really likes his crate...when he was a puppy sometimes we couldn't find him and he would be asleep in his crate like a good boy... |

OK great I am right on track, because Birdie sleeps with me at night, and sleeps well. But also a bed hog, she sleeps really tight by me, or on me, or whatever she feels like, and I thought she was a crazy dog, but she goes under the covers and finds a place close to me and zonks out. then when I wake up shes usually sleeping up by my head with her face snuggled in my neck, what a crazy puppy, but I love her and this breed so much it has been a great ride so far. |

| I sometimes let her sleep in the bed, especially on very cold night or when I wasn't able to spend much time with her on a day, she loves to cuddle in the bed so much, it's almost like she wants to get UNDER my skin, just can't seem to get close enough. But like yours she's a bed hog and have woken up with sore muscles and neck more than once, so she mostly sleeps in her crate in the bedroom. |

| Love the snuggly gsp photos. Ours sleep downstairs in their crates, but come up before bed AND in the morning for cuddles for a few hours, til i get cross nearly being chucked out of my own bed as the legs and claws stretch out. OW |

| I am so glad i am not the only one who lets the dogs sleep in bed with them. I thought it was a cardinal sin. Now that we are talking about it....why do they feel the need to use all 4 legs to PUSH against you as hard as they can to fall asleep? |

| I don't get the legs, but I do get a body slam. They absolutely have to make sure there is not a molecule of air between my back and their back when they are in bed with me. Normally I only have one in the bed at a time with me, but once in a while they all pile up on the bed for some snuggle time and that is one crowded bed. Usually happens on a cold night so it is nice to have the GSP heaters. No need for heat in the house or and electric blanket. New way to save on energy. |

| Buddy on the bed usually around the ankles and feet, Gracie jumps in the bed, stands there until I lift the covers, she then goes right under curling up leaning on my stomach. She's an under the cover type of dog. Daytime Buddy has run of the house, Gracie still not 100% trustworthy yet so she goes in her crate. |

Oh yeah, good question! And I REALLY need to clip Remi's nails.......He has cat nails!! He pushes against me, then digs his nails into me |
