The color looks striking on them.

AHHH! All these pics of pups with birds in their mouths just makes me want to get the girls out hunting. Alas they are not quite there. Soon..Very soon.  There has been a hunt scheduled for the 3rd of next month, and i hope Adie will be ready to try her paw at it...

What, exactly, do they need to be ready for before they hunt?
It's our philosophy that they are born to hunt, we don't teach hunting. The longer we wait to intro, the greater the likelyhood of lesser development of ability, skills and just plain old know how.
get 'em out there, get 'em working
get 'em birdie

Where did you get those vests from? They're really smart!!

They look like the ones I just got for my "kids" & they're fantastic! I got mine from cabelas.com & they were called Tummysaver vests. The medium was a perfect fit for both my GSPs (Layla is 42 pounds & all leg and Daniel is 64 pounds & all chest). Unfortunately I bought & had to modify the large for Daniel, since they were out of mediums. It sort of fits, but was just too long & interfered with his ability to... er... pee on something other than himself. :)

I've just had a look online for them today and i've only managed to find one website that sells them in the UK. Very annoying! Especially as they don't look quite the same. I'll keep looking, maybe check ebay but if not i might have to get a friend from USA to send one to me as i'm not paying the $70 shipping fee's!! :)

$70 shipping?! Jeeze, out of the package they'd fit in a big envelope & weigh next to nothing!

I have a friend that lives in PA so i'll ask her if she wouldn't mind getting me one and sending it over to me. Shouldn't take long to get here and will save me a fortune, especially as it'll be a "gift" from her to me so no duty to pay on it either! Winner \o/

I just moved close to their store in PA, I can't wait to get in there - that and Gun needs a vest, too!
