My girlfriends father was over the other day and giving both my dogs drinks, and at the end straight from the glass.  I wasn't too happy about this dog drinking stuff, but they sure did take an instant liking to it. 

Bo seems to really like tea, coffee and beer  or at least the smell.

I regret to state that my family liked to give our Weims (when I was younger, before GSPs) cheap champagne just to whatch them sneeze, scowl, rub their faces on the carpet--and head back for more!

I wonder why I haven't tried that recently?  I'll bet mine would LOVE a sip. . .

When I was in college we had a big party one Halloween and I made a cooler full of trashcan punch.  The next day as we were all laying around our GSP/shorthair mix wasn't on his normal couch and kept insisting on hanging out in the gameroom in the dark by himself.  A couple of times we brought him into the living room but he kept going out to be alone.  That night while I was telling one of my friends about the strange behavior they said, "Oh, just about everytime I came through the kitchen Argus was drinking out of the cooler."

I guess he had a doggy hangover.  I wasn't too happy about it but he appeared to come through none the worse for the wear.
