That looks like one happy young man. If he doesn't have a vest yet, they make a youth vest same as an adult's only tiny. Our daughter has one and loves to wear it and has carried a few birds in the pouch.
Great pictures and keep making those memories.

Welcome to the list and cute pup!  Looks like the kids and the pup are both worn out.  A GSP and a kid, perfect combination because they are both full of energy!

Well, dumazz me took Toby for a little walk behind the house this evening and FORGOT THE CAMERA!!!
He pointer twice, once on an unknown scent we stomped all over and didnt kick any birds or hear any chippys scurry away..
The second was hilarious! We were cutting through a field and he hit point, tail and body trembling for maybe 4 seconds then he dove nose first into a mouse hole!! I tried to praise him while I was laughing. One of those moments you just had to see.

I wouldn't do much more than 30 minutes an outing & take it at his pace, either in the cool of the AM or evening. Have fun!!!!!!

On my way to check the deer cam tonight we saw 3 grouse. didnt spook til Gage chased em. Problem is that its a 15 min wheeler ride.. I was thinking of trying to put the kennel on the quad and trying to get him to a few remote areas that I have seen birds this year. Any thoughts?

Nice!! Perfect field to walk him in at his age, some cover, but not to much, nice and big, bet he has a blast there!! (per the quad ride...I wouldn't just yet, might spook him at this age. Give him a cpl mnths to get some leg under him & walk him back there.)
