Havent been on here in a while, but thought I would update eveyone on Cocoa.  She will be 7 months old next week...boy how time flys.  She is doing very well and is spoiled rotten.   Training her has been hard due to the inconsistencies of having 3 small kids in the house.  We have decided to get her spayed next week...kinda sad but I just dont have the time to properly breed her and its the smart thing to do.   She is starting with a trainer in 2 weeks, so I am anxious to see how that goes.  She is about 38 pounds right now so I expect her to fill out to about 50 pounds.  She looks great and I couldnt be more pleased that we picked a shorthair to join the family.  She is awesome with the kids.

Obedience....I wish I had time to hunt with her, but too many kids and too many activities going on!! Vicky Jones, (here in Newnan, GA) will be doing the training. She was recommended by my breeder. Gotta work on recall badly!!! Most everything else is coming along pretty well.

BTW, I am looking for another female, preferrably 1-2 years, if anyone has any leads. Cocoa really, really wants a playmate, but I am not ready to go thru the puppy stage right now!!!
