I took Koda to the beach a few weekends ago, and she finally had fun in the water.  I started off throwing the ball close to the shore then moved further away.  By the end I was throwing it as far as I could, and she had a blast jumping through the water to get it.  The water is super shallow, so I have yet to get a chance for her to try actual swimming.  I tried to get her in the canal at the junior hunt test, but I think I need to get in the water with her, since she doesn't know that she can swim yet.  She also befriended a Rhodesian Ridgeback that is normally shy around other dogs, but loved running after Koda chasing the ball.  Here are some photos:
