We went to upper Michigan and stayed in my aunt and uncle's camper on the lake (they live in a house off of the lake but keep the toys at th camper location)... Blitz had fun with his cousin's (my sister's dogs) Gauge the 3 yr old pit and Bella the 4 yr old boxer. Also my aunt and uncle had their dog Hogan the 6 yr old golden retriever there... Blitz and Guage loved the water and would even go out enough to swim, Bella only liked it up to her belly. They got pretty tired after being in the water almost non-stop from Wednesday afternoon to Saturday night (didn't let them in Sunday morning cuz we were leaving but they didn't evne want to). Picture over load!

Just looked at the photos on facebook ... they are awesome! Love the pic of Blitz just sitting in the water up to his chest

We had a great time and I was so happy that Blitz enjoyed the water so much and would actually go out deep enough to swim! The funny thing is Blitz and both of my sister's dogs hate baths in the bath tub or getting hosed off, but they all loved the lake!

Now that we have been home and haven't had the excitement of other dogs around, I think he does miss Donner...not to the point where he is super depressed but I notice he is a bit more clingy to me and defiantly asking us to play with him more.
