We have been made an offer we just can't refuse and are tickled pink with....

Singltrak has made us an offer on one of her male pups, so we are taking her up on it!  Thank you so much Phyllis!

He is from her laugh litter so we are thinking Singltrak Laughs The Best Meds (something like that depending on spacing for letters-could be just Med instead of Meds or Laffs instead of Laughs)...right now his nickname is Squeak but we will wait to name him when we get him home which will involve a plane trip and car ride at the end of this month.

Congrats on the new puppy!! Phyllis, way to go!! You are getting a great dog from a very nice breeding from Phyllis. I bet the boys are excited and I am sure Blitz will be happy too. Puppies are truly the best medicine, so very appropriate name as well.

How nice! And I think I would keep the name Squeak LOL. Too cute.

It is a nice way to end a very rough week and so not seen as happening so fast...I had mention in my post about Donner passing that we would eventually get another GSP (we have totally fell in love with the breed) but that we would wait a bit save up for one by Spring we thought we would have money saved up, but with great online friends we are able to make it happen sooner!

How exciting a new pup.  While you cannot replace a dog, because each puppy is unique with its own personality, it helps ease the pain when there is a puppy that can lift your spirits and definitely keep you busy.  I know for me, I can hardly wait get my new puppy.

Jeez he's cute. I'm so glad things ended up this way. That was a wonderful thing you did, Phyllis.

I love Donner's photo in your signature with the halo over his head.

Looks like this dark cloud has a silver lining.

So cool to know someone on here will have his half siblings!

I know, I so dread going through the puppy phase again...I was to the point where I could relax and trust the dogs to a certain degree...potty training again! The good news is it is a good time for potty training...when we got Donner it was winter and it was much harder than with Blitz in late summer/fall.
