Saturday me and Ruger took a walk down to the beach near my house, there was a really low tide so we went down to check out the exposed sea life that is usaully underwater, Ruger loves when we walk along the coast, it really brings out the puppy in him.

What a lovely beach. Looks like Ruger had a ton of fun. Love the starfish picture.

that star fish was over a foot across, probably about 16 inches across, it was huge,

the beach or shoreline is about 5 minutes from my house, it is on Puget Sound and usually in the summer (but also year round) we walk it when the tide is out, almost everyweekend. I usually make my coffee and then we head down there early in the morning before it gets busy. The breeze that comes off of the Pacific Ocean is so clean and refreshing with that hint of saltiness in it. I love the Pacific Coast in the summer!

in the photo below you can see how far out the tide is by the green seaweed and algae on the shore

Beautiful area, beautiful dog. My aunt and uncle live on Whitby Island. What a dreamy area to live in!
