As some of you may rememeber, Osiris went through a period where he was being "anti-social" and acting scared at night.  He wanted to hide in the basement rather than snuggle on the couch with us at night like he has always done.

We recently had a baby who is now 4 months old - CAN YOU BELEIVE IT?? - and we think it may have been part of the reason for the behavior.

With all the wonderful advice I got from you on here - Bev, Pixie Bee, etc, we tried a few things - Rescue Remedy, Distraction, Pheremone Collar, Bendadryl, Positive Reinforcement....

And I am so happy to report that my snuggle bug doggie is back!!!  He has been snuggling on the the couch and bed with me and my husband all week!!  My puppy still loves me!!

It seems the things we did helped and it also seems that he is getting more used to Logan.  I knew it would take time.

I also am happy to report that the Rescue Remedy really helped with the fireworks on the 4th of July!  His is usally a BASKET CASE but we premedicated with Benadryl and the Remedy and he almost seemed to ignore them!  He did stay inside all evening and got a little scared from a few of the really big BOOMS, but other than that, we did great.  It just makes me happy to have a balanced pup back!

Thanks again, everyone!!!

Good work, Caryl! This speaks more to your dedication as a loving owner and a parent than anything else!

I am so happy the snuggly Osiris is back.  You did an awesome job working him through all the ups and downs in his world.  Pat yourself of the back.  I just wish every dog owner was so dedicated.

It's so great to hear you took the time to take care of him - and it helped him.
I'm not one to treat dogs like babies but I do believe in being reponsible for a life I chose to have enter my family.

He's lucky to have you and your family.
