Hi All!!!
I am the proud fairly-new momma of a 12 week GSP named Gunner. He's an absolute doll and a very smart little guy.
But, I've noticed something and I am not sure if it's my pup just being vocal or if perhaps something more.
Gunner is typically a noisy boy, little growls, barks, and other noises when we play or if he needs to go outside. Recently I noticed he kinda of does a strange moan or cry when he goes to scratch at his sides and right before he settles in for a nap with us or at night time when he is getting comfortable to fall asleep. Any ideas? |

Our girl is a moaner ... especially when she's sleeping on my lap. Our boy, not unless he's SUPER tired. I woudn't worry about it,

| Very cute puppy! Hogan was very vocal at that age - especially when settling down to sleep, he would do loud grumbles, I was worried but when I realised it was him being a grumpy old man before his time it became very cute ! |

It has to be on a website like facebook or photobucket.
Then go to "add reply" and at the top there is a "insert picture" button. Get the address of the picuture and voila! x |

| My boy always groans when he settles in for the night...kind of a "man what a day" groan. I just laugh at it. Cute puppy! Enjoy him while he is small..it wont last long |

He's getting big already! He amazes me every day and is such a willing learner and quite the little love bug. I am so happy I picked a GSP and thanks to all you for squashing my fear of his weird growls, moans, and pterodactyl noises, haha.  |

GSPs make the most bizarre noises, in addition to the normal growls, moans and barks. My girl, Halo, is a talker and makes all kinds of noises when she settles down to sleep. She also makes a sound when she gets excited that sounds like a wookie. Oh and she also sighs allot. We call her the Queen of Sighs because if she doesn't get what she wants she sits in the middle of the room and will sigh. It is hilarious.
Enjoy Gunner while he is little as they grow up too fast. |

Question sorry to steal the posting...I always load my pictures to facebook cuz I want to and then I load them to photobucket to put on this site...how do I get them from fb to here? I don't ever see any direct image links?

At this house, it's Thunder and cereal that brings on the weirdest noises. He LOVES cereal with milk (that's his nightly reward when he wins a stake at a field trial) and he sits as nicely as possible (this field dog can sit!) while the spit shoe-strings hang sometimes 2 feet long and groans on both the inhale and the exhale. It's disgusting and funny at the same time. |

Gun had some funny ones this morning, apparently he couldn't get close enough to me around 4am this morning so I awoke to a dog face plastered to my cheek and a lovely little whining session. I guess his face on my face isn't close enough for him sometimes, haha. Needless to say I scooped him up and appeased his need for some attention (and for my beauty sleep!) Gotta love the cute little puppy antics even if they are at 4am!  |
