Just curious really but I was wonder what everyone else's dogs weigh? Bentley is around 7.5 months old now and i've just weighed him at 30kg. That sounds pretty big to me!! ??

Nope ... you're pretty much on par I would think. He's probably at his max height now. All his puppy chubbies are turning into muscle.

Although, just make sure he's not carrying a lot of extra weight ... only you can tell by looking at this body shape -- he should have a nice tucked up tummy and show his last two ribs. Don't want excess weight on developing bones and joints. If he looks good, then he's prob. just a big boy...

He looks awesome! I'm guessing he's just a big lad. His dad was 32kg so i thought he'd be less than he is at this age but maybe he's just going to fill out a bit more from now on instead of growing taller etc :)

Weight needs to correspond to height and bone.
My dogs fluctuate from 66-72 depending on the time of year, amount of training and hunting season. Right now they are skinny winnies - heat and swimming.
I would think 66lbs at 7.5 months is a bit heavy, but I can't see him in person so maybe for him it's the perfect weight.

My one year old is about 55 lbs. He had dropped to 51 when summer started and I could tell he was too skinny cuz too much rib was showing...I made some satin balls and was feeding him those and then switched to Diamonds active athlete dog food and now I haven't weighed him but visually he is back to how he should look, so I am guessing around 55-60 lbs.

Phil ... meant to ask if Bentley is on puppy food. If so, it may be time to switch to adult food...

He's off the puppy and on junior food now. He's most definitely not overweight as in fat, he's pure muscle. I'll try and get a photo or two of him today and upload it so you can see.

Last time I weighed Dieter he was around 55lbs (25 kg). That was a month or two ago. I suspect hes put on a few pounds since then.

As Francine said, weight depends on bone structure, height, etc. It's hard to compare unless you are looking at all measurements. Also, muscle weighs A LOT. So some of the fitter dogs may weigh more just due to that fact.

Chelsea (10 yrs female) is a solid, consistent 50 pounds, doesn't vary hardly at all.  Jasper, poor guy  is about the same--he's taller, but narrow!  My last two, females, one was usually around 60, the other 55.

Xara just hit the 40 lb mark and is 24 inches at the shoulder now. She's thin and lanky, but not too thin. Long thin legs that go for miles

Wow she is tall...I think Blitz  is tall but I don't think that tall though I measured him when he was 8 months and now he is 1 yr.
