Just wanted to say thanks to everyone in the Shorthairs community.  I've had Asher two weeks and there have been zero surprises, thanks to the information you all have given me.

So far, Asher's ears and energy level has grown tremendously.  He absolutely loves the backyard and I even caught him pointing a leaf yesterday.  The walks have been somewhat tempered, due to taking 5 ticks off my yellow lab in the past 4 days. 

Again, I consider myself to be a good dog man, but I just wanted to say thanks for all the info, stories, and insight you all have given me! 

I'll post some pictures tomorrow.  He almost has the sit command down.

I am a first time GSP owner with no real dog experience - we got Osiris from a rescue almost 5 years ago and I have been a member of this site every step of the way. The information I have gotten from all the wonderful people on here is priceless - and I've made some pretty good "internet" friends too!

It has been an absolute pleasure sharing my doggie and my family stories with everyone.
