He is such a well behaved guy! I thought everything you did looked great too. I use my hand up like that for the stay too. My son is working on that with Blitz now. He has to go to then end of the long line and Blitz has to sit-stay. Then my son has to walk up to and then behind Blitz and then come around and stand next to Blitz's side without Blitz moving. Sometimes the dogs get confused after they have been doing the sit-stay-come.

Splat - I never break a come by calling. If I want him to come to me, I use WAIT. I always go BACK to a stay

YEA.. there you are . not the vid i first saw that was the shoe one? he is coming on bless, are you going to go to gundog training? i found it was a total blessing when a friend who was watching my struggles.. ( bails is and was VERY fast) took me alond to the HPR training, it is so good, whistle training retrieving ectt, we never quite mastered the art of retrieving though, but my last boy was very good.
