Bean hates her remote control truck ! She barked at it and jumped in my lap ( LAP ? ) That's one way of putting it >>> She was all over me, acting like a rabid truck hater !
I blame my husband, He bought the truck, and he chose a "DODGE" Bean's real truck is a Chevy I have a Big Fat Lifted GMC and hubby drives an F 350
Bean was just confused roflmao
So how did your gift giving go ? BTW we got a whopping inch of snow yesterday

Poor Bean, lol.....
Our only gift to the dogs this year was a smidge of leftover leg of lamb and gravy. No issues there. |

| Did you try taking Beans outside with the truck? My dogs love to chase it around especially in the driveway in front of the garage. (Way Way away from the road) Mocha barks at it and tries to bite the tires on it. Really keeps you going trying to keep it away from the giant dog attacking the truck. I am partial to the Chevy/GMC but my RC truck is a Ford. Maybe that's why they attack it. |

I'll have to try the RC truck bit when I get home. Might be a good way to help tire out Jake since he will be about 5 months when I get there. Would this be a feasable way to teach / train him to look for a wounded running rooster.... |

Ranger was delighted with his bag of Pig Ears and giant femur pre-boxed so festively! Doesn't he look grateful towards our son? The giant bone was a hit for keeping him occupied while at the in-laws yesterday. I think Ranger looks good in his new red collar too!

They really like "Skunkie" which is sort of like a skunk skin (i.e. no stuffing to rip out but it does honk AND squeak). If "Cuz" is the toy we call "Mr. Footy-Squeaky," that is Jasper's favorite fetch toy and he got a BIG version!
The braided pizzle sticks, however, were gone in 30 seconds . |

I wasn't sure what a "CUZ" was so I googled it....they claim it's not as tough as it looks...?? Then I saw "TUFFIES"...suppose to be the toughest dog toy ever HMMMM ? I wasn't sold !
We took Bean's truck outside, but we only have grass & the battery was low SO >>> I'll give it another shot outdoors...the silly truck has a bed cover that doesn't come off, I was gonna put some of her toys in the bed...looks like I'll have to Bungie them to the truck
We had two walk days OFF ...and today she got EVEN with me....Man I'm wore out, trying to walk a GSP on a leash in ICE on the roads....... we walk a stretch adjacent to the Olympia airport, and Monday we were trodding along, when we noticed a remote control plane buzzing about...Bean seemed to like that, she watched it as it swooped and soared ( it made an odd humming sound ) I'm guessing that's what caught her attention ?
Hope everyone had a relaxed happy holiday

I'm surprised how strong the cuz is ... Bo has easily ripped through toys designed for agressive chewers in a few minutes. So far he hasn't pierced the cuz --- and he HAS been trying |

That's the kind of testimony I like to hear...I'll try one Bean's last toy was a Nyla bone two ended tug toy...I thought, this is it !!! She'll never chew it up WELL GUESS WHAT It has a black rubber coating on both ends...she's nibbled at that from the get go Little black rubber pieces each time everywhere So we play tug with it and put it away>>> I tried to cut the black rubber coating off, BUT decided a trip to emergency room wasn't worth it....I needed a dang RAZOR to cut through it.... What the hell are those GSP teeth made of SUPERMAN STRENGTH sumpin>>>> I swear Renee' |

We played with it for another half hour when I got home tonight ... it still has it's teeny-tiny ears and feet despite Bo's best efforts. In fact, he has barely scratched the thing despite walking around chewing on it REALLY hard. (Even better, instead of squeaking it kinda honks )
This is exactly the one he got (size Large) http://www.petacular.com/products/Cuz-Dog-Toys.html. I can't swear that Bean won't go through it, but we have watched this boy chew through those super tough rubber tires and the fire hose toys with less effort. |

| My girl's looked at their new toys and said aww. Angel is much more happier chasing the many squirrels trying to invaid the birdfeeder. Star found an old sock and been throwing it around. The rough grouse have been hanging around the house again this year. I have to check out the yard before I let the girl's out, otherwise we will be having grouse for dinner. |

Yes, Cuz is Mr. Footy-Squeaky. Actually the Christmas one is sort of like an octopus and may be made by somebody else. . .but its equally popular. We actually have four Mr. Footy-Squeakies as Chelsea likes to grab them from her "brother" and hide them in the bushes where I can't find them. . .until after I buy a new one. |

CJ - Grouse is GOOOOOD!!!!!!! It seems to me that the girls are better at chewing through toys than the boys. Unless Hunter just isn't a shredder! My girls seem to rip the fuzz out of everything! I buy them beef knuckles occasionally. Those last forever. Keeps them really busy. We usually buy some cheap stuffed toys. They play with them and destroy them within a few days but better than an expensive one that lasts the same amount of time. I'll have to check on those you are talking about. |

Juno with his Christmas Gifts......can you tell he is a little spoiled.
The Lobster has been de-stuffed through the hole on the top of his head already but we have been able to stop him from chewing all of the "fluff" out of the big doggy friend. Hoping that it will be more of a cuddle bed than a chew toy. It's working so far. We'll see how long it lasts but it sure makes for some cute pictures.
Hope that eveyone had a great Christmas. Happy New Year.

Beans,
Juno has/had one of those nylabone two ended tug toys. This is what is left of it. I thought it looked pretty indestructable but he has chewed it down to a couple of little nubs. I don't know how he does it but it seems like his teeth could chew through metal. He first started with the black rubber and then right to the red plastic. He still pulls out these nubs once in a while to start chewing bits off. It must feel good on his teeth. I guess that it might be time to take these away from him.

| Aren't you glad you didn't get them the big stuffed dog like Juno got? You'd be picking up stuffing for days. Looks like the poor hedgehog met his demise quickily. |

| you guys crack me up with the 'whats left of the toy' pictures. Webster got a new Wubba for Christmas, which we only let him play with when we're with him otherwise he'll eat it. His favorite toy wasn't actually a toy at all, and not actually his, but socks I gave to my husband. What is it with gsps & socks? |
