Emma our rescue dog had a two solid poops yesterday and then this morning at 5:00 am had runny stool. Figured it was the stress but it was normal brown runny poo... BUT she was just sitting by me and I was petting her head an she farted and blood came out. She didn't even notice that she did that..... Its really light blood... We are going to the vet this afternoon but I am wondering if anyone knows what this could be... Or any heads up? It was just amazing that she tooted it out and didn't even notice it...

Yikes! No idea what it might be, but I hope she's OK!

Could be just infected anal glands, could be she has some enteritis which will irritate the bowel & cause blood. If there is no fever/vomiting etc, then hopefully it isn't viral & something easy to treat.
