Sorry, I couldn't get my phone to post a new message so I will do it now. Mel called me this morning and said that they made it to NY without incident. Xara had her Xray this am and the vet did not see anything in her stomach. They fed her and she had a BM. Mel said she has never been so happy to see a dog poop. Xara apparently had ingested part of her blanket. Xara will be staying with the vet overnight but gets to see and play with her sister. Mel can now enjoy her vacation and says thanks for all of your thoughts and prayers.

Deb, thanks for posting for me!!!! And everyone thank you for your prayers and good thoughts they worked! As Deb said, I have never been so grateful to see a dog poop in my life! I was getting worried as she hadn't had a bowel movement since 6 AM Friday, but FINALLY it all came out in the end (pun intended) Xara is staying the night with her LITTLE sister (She is so much bigger than Bailey it's funny, because when they were 8 weeks Bailey was a monster compared to Xara. Xara has at least 10 lbs on her, about 2 inches in height and is just all around bigger. Bailey has a larger head, and a bit thicker boned legs, but other than that Xara is larger. Xara is MUCH darker liver, and Bailey has a soft silky coat vs. Xara's wirey one). Dr. Dan said Xara grew up nice Dr. Dan said she was going to sleep in his house tonight and play with her sister LOL I think he was just thrilled to see Xara again, he was loving all over her. I'm hoping he gets me some pictures, but if not I will get some tomorrow morning when I go to get Xara so that you all can see the two of them together. Had a wonderful time at graduation today, Andria graduated with High Honors, and Joe with Honors. Went to dinner at an absolutely awesome Italian Restaurant, stuffed myself silly and am paying for it now UGH! I'm operating on 1.5 hr sleep so I know once I sit down it's going to be lights out for me for the night. We plan on leaving tomorrow between 10-12 and should be home around 7-9 PM. I"ll post pics then.

A graduation to remember, that's for sure! Glad to hear that Xara is better.

So good to hear Xara is Ok. What worry our dogs can put us through!! Glad you are finally able to relax and have a good time. Can't wait for the pic of the sisters together , both grown up!! What fun!!

Unfortunately I didnt' get any pictures of Xara and Bailey together When I went to get Xara yesterday morning Dan was still sleeping and I didn't think it would be right to wake him up simply so I can get some pics LOL He also didnt' get a chance to let the two of them play for him to get any either. BUT I will get pics of Bailey the next time I go up there!
