Subject: underground fences

My girl is 50% in 50% out and my wife just bought a radio version of the underground fence.  Any feelings on this?  I am concerned about how it may affect my E-collar useage and training in the field.  Will it keep her from rangring as wide when hunting? It will keep her off  this ole country road.

We have the underground fence and have not had any problems with either dog hunting with e-collars. The only problem that we have run into is my husband does spring yard clean up and plugged the e-fence while plugging the yard. Benelli has not had her e-fence collar on for almost two months and has not left the yard. the day after the fence was plugged she went visiting the neighbors. Now how did she know the fence wasn't working? Smart dog......
