Welcome to

I decided to only take Xara to class and leave Sniper at home. What a major difference it made. Evidently Xara was feeding off Snipers anxiety in the car and that got her stressed before she ever got to class last time.
This time she was wonderful! She laid in her crate the whole way there and never made a sound, last time she thrashed so much she tipped her crate over. She entered the building and never barked this time at all, she even made friends with the same dog she snapped at last time, and met a 5 month old Golden Retreiver she loved playing with. Just a totally different dog this time.
She worked like a dream through the whole class instead of shutting down on me half way through. Even the instructors mentioned how much calmer she was this time.
So, Sniper will stay home when Xara and I go training and he and I will have to find our own time to go and she will stay home. It was a MUCH more enjoyable experience for both of us today.
