I am just curious as to what you all vaccinate for and how often. Do people do a standard Rabies and DHLPP every 3 yrs only? Does anyone do Lepto and Lymes? Anything else? So much conflicting and contraversial info.

I get rabies every year (required), and the 5 way vaccine. No lepto or lyme as we have very limited or no exposure to either. Bordatella vaccine every 6 months. I don't do the intranasal Bordatella because one of my dogs had a reaction to it. I also get the rattlesnake vaccine once a year before hunting season. I do the vaccines yearly because of the requirements at the boarding facility I use and also the training facility.

We do rabies,after the 1st year we do 3 year. We worm 3-4 times a year. We do find ticks. I don't worry too much about lyme's b/c the tick needs to be biting for a minimum of 24 hours,most times over this time, to transmit it. As a safety we do give garlic the mornings of higher risk days -this helps with all biting bugs. Francine
