Adie is beginning to understand sit stay. The best thing is she is not distinguising between the two commands. When i tell her to sit i can walk about 30 feet away. Heel is commming along also. She stays pretty close with my left side. The poor thing is still trying to use her feet gracefully. She will sit when i stop moving. I am so happy with this dog. She responds so well to positive reinforcement! She just wants to please.

She is adorable and I love those ears. Just think someday she will fit her ears.

Adie met her "Cousins" this weekend; Max (boxer) and Diesel (6 month old Doberman). I found that it takes 2 boxers and a Doberman to wear a GSP pup out!

All of those dogs are gorgeous! The sleepy dog pile is great, but the duck hunting is so cute!

Miss Addie has been helping with the ducks quite abit. She has learned to help herd the ducks into the house at night. She is so handy! She has also started stalking other birds in the yard. The Hummingbirds give her a little trouble.

She is growing up WAY too fast! It feels like only yesterday that I could pick her up with one hand. It is nice that she is maturing, but I already miss the little fuzzball stage, and she is only 13 weeks.

Well it has been a little crazy around HHM the past week. (We found out Mrs. R  and I are expecting twins!!!) I Haven't been able to get any new pics. Adie is doing great. She is able to heel w/o a lead.  She is beginning to cast, and will respond to other hand signals. Her sit /stay is fantastic.  I have been able to get about 100 yrds. away and she will stay. She has REALLY found her nose. Adie uses it all the time, and is good with it. Our new game is playing fetch in the dark. I was able to get her on a scale a week ago, and she is 25lbs.!!!  She is getting so big so fast.  OH!!! She has found the creek....it is the best thing EVER apparently. She loves to go there...when she decides to take HERSELF for a walk....naughty pup.

Here is some really bad video of the little one in the yard. I was working all morning, and the little one was giving me the "will you ever be ready to play?"  She had been doing a great job and was getting tired when I grabbed the camera. Later that night we had a supervised visit to the creek, and we had swimming and water retrieval!  She goes to the vet tomorrow and I bet she will be pushing 30lbs!

Well I still have to get some pics. Miss Addie is doing well. We have been working on multiple marks and retrieves. She has been swimming almost every day. The funny thing is that she will swim upstream all day, but will not swim in a lake. She has become a stick collector. My porches are full of sticks that she finds in the yard and tries to sneek into the house. The past few days she has started to not listen to me, and she has become real skiddish. I don't know why. There hasn't been anything dramatic that has happened. she is just scared of the most normal things. I am really hoping it is a phase. I will get some pictures this week I promise. She is really getting big. She is filling out and geting VERY STRONG!

I forgot to mention that a few mornings ago Adelaide and I were doing some tracking and retrieving drills in heavy cover. After a few throws I moved position. I gave a throw of the dummy and off addie went. I watched the grass as she plowed her way through. She started off in the right direction, but began to stray off course. I could tell she knew the direction of the dummy, but something else had her attention. As she was circling in the grass I hear what sounds like a lamb, and can barely make out doggie feet and tail and nose tumbling through the grass. The little one ran into and tripped over a baby deer having a morning nap! The little guy didn't know what hit it. After an apology and a bit of a laugh Addie and I headed back to the house.
