Introducing Adelaide! She is my firtst gsp and she is a little pistol! She was about 8 weeks old when these pics were taken, and weighing in at 10.5 lbs.  Adie is now 10 weeks old and much bigger! I have been on vacation from work for the past month, so I have been working with her quite a bit. Right now she understands come, no, drop, and sit. I have been having a little trouble with stay...oh wait she is a puppy they only stop moving if they are asleep.  Adie loves to fetch, and tackle her big sister (she is a boxer). Adelaide sticks pretty close Jasmine.

Adorable, enjoy her while she is a puppy because they grow up so fast.

Oh my!  What a little doll baby...GSP's faces are so full of expression, especially when they are little.  Even Penny at the age of almost 3, gives me that "What do you want ? I dont understand." head tilt.  Love these dogs!

Our little Adelaide has been very entertaining! It has been fun to watch her explore her new world. She has taken to flipping her food bowl and then eating all the food! It is better off the floor aparently.

The Boxer (Jasmine) has been feeling better, and has also has decided that her baby sister is big enough to take a beating! Jasmine has figured out that she can flip Adelaide in the air with her head! Sunday we caught them pounding eachother in the living room. I found that Jasmine had Adie pinned to the ground with the underside of her jaw. Both of her tails wagging franticly! This went on for at least half an hour. The puppy was actually getting out of breath! Unfortunatly Jasmine ended up with a scratch on her eyeball. So no more rough house without eye protection.

Just wait till your little girl starts boxing!  GSP's are pretty good at getting up on their hind legs and boxing as well.  Hope Jasmine eye is okay.

Miss Jasmine is going back to the vet tomorrow. I think her eye is doing better. (she really hates the eye goop we must apply three times a day) Thank you for the well wishes.

Little Adelaide uses her paws very much like a boxer. I thought it was learned behavior, but perhaps not..

Congratulations !!! She is a honey girl!! Don't worry as "sit stay" command is so hard and does not come easy for the high energy GSP!! Let face it, GSPs are not a sit stay, couch potatoe kind of breed!! That is why some of us love them so much!!
