Ok does anyone else have a dog that pees all over themselves and doesnt seem to care? From the day i brought him home he has constantly peed over his front paws/legs. Now he is peeing all over his stomach. Iv seen him pee almost every ounce of pee all over his stomach weather it be squating or leg lifting..it was kinda funny when he was a pup and he would pee on his paws. Now it is just disgusting.!

Bearoff pees on the backside of his front paws. He only squats at this point.
He is just over a year old now.

Ringo sometimes hit his front legs when he was a baby, but not anymore. He rarely squats unless he can't find something to lift his leg on or if he needs to go bad. He doesn't pee on himself though.

Hahahaha, yeah mine does but i was too embarrassed to say anything *blush* so glad you did.

He does mega pees, and i don't quite now how he manages to get the angles so spot on to direct it onto himself. He just doesn't care! Oh, and sometimes our other dog is next to him and he somehow does it out sideways and gets him too.

So so funny and disgusting at the same time!

Blitz still squats and doesn't lift...however he just barely squats so he might hit the back of his front paws once in awhile, but I have never seen him get his tummy!

Max pees on his front legs all the time. In fact I keep a box of baby wipes by the back door.

It's a male thing. All my males did it and they did out grow it. this is my thoughts -
they know they are doing it but being males are to dumb to really care - after a while it starts to bother them and they are more careful. If my younger one -now
21 months old - has pee touch him he will re-angle himself or stop, adjust a bit and pee again.

Sorry for putting down males - but let's face it - how many men really wash their hands after they've gone?
Come on, tell the truth.

Bo does this too -- mostly when he's SUPER tired or can't get a good enough grip on the ice/snow. But he always cleans himself up when he comes in :D Good idea about the baby wipes though ...

Ewwww! I'm so glad Hogan doesn't do this... although when he was very little he used to poo and then stand it in immediately! I also had baby wipes by the back door for this, but it always made me retch and (gross warning) it would always be squidged under his claws and inbetween his toes....!!!

i find in the morning he usually squats nice and low getting all the pee on the ground..but the rest of the day forget it I really hope pixie bee is right and it starts to bother him. So at what age did you find they stopped doing this? Dieter is 9 months TODAY!

Ringo stopped peeing on himself once he started lifting his leg, about 6 or 7 months.

Bo has done that too -- but what can you expect from a dog that answers to Doofus (said lovingly of course :))
