So very true.

We have a 15 year old girl (ARGHHHH) and a 12 year old boy (soon to be ARGHHH!).

Thank christ for the dog!

I have both at the same time. The Human is definitely more trying!! AND he has his driver's permit and I have to let him drive. No matter how many times I have to wipe mud off the dog's feet, he will never make me let him drive!!

Don't have kids, so I don't have any comparison, but I remember reading a study where they said that 2 year old kids and 2 year old dogs had the same number of words in their vocabulary. But it stated that a 2 years old, dogs were much more intellectually advanced, because at 2 years old, a dog has already learned to manipulate other, and a child learns that skill later.

The other night, I told Gator to get in his kennel, and he just looked at me and went over to the chair where my husband was sitting, sat at h is feet, rolled over on his back, looking cute, soliciting tummy rubs and loving.

So THIS is what I have to look forward to!?!? LOL

Just kidding - not that naive - I was a hellion as a teenager so I kinda have it coming.

And Osiris, being 4 years old has gone through some rascally teenager dog stuff.

I should have baby news any day.... Due on the 22nd of March (THIS MONDAY!!)

Good luck.
usually the due date for first time mothers is off a week or so. So, don't be worried if nothing 'happens' on Monday. For my first baby I was in labor for 5days,didn't dilate enough for them to take me and my second baby's water broke 3 in the morning. 2 C-sections and I'm done - I'll enjoy reading other's stories rather then making more of my own.
Don't be nervous, trust your doctors and get the epidoral! Don't be brave.

Best wishes,
Francine
