Just a few new pictures taken whilst walking today by the river.

He's growing too fast!

Woo hoo

Sit (after a reasonable recall!)

He is definately a water baby! Note - he has now been washed, dried and is snoring in front of the roaring fire after this little episode!!

Arty shot...

Shelley :)

Just saw these over on FB. They do love the water. Mine never cease to amaze me with water. Late last fall we were hiking in Colorado mountain above 9000 feet. It was cold and snowing and we got to the mountain lake and they all jumped in for a swim. I shudder to think how cold the water was. I know I couldn't put my hand in it, but they did fine. Jumped out and were ready to keep going. Of course, they had a bit of the zoomies after the swim, but they never got cold. Temps were easily in the 20s too.

My boy was in the water yesterday too. Found a puddle up to his belly. He misses swimming!

Jeez Hogan must be a bit soft... he shivered all the way home so had a nice hot shower when we got back!

Here are a few videos too....

Working on his re-call (this is one of the better ones!!!) - we now use better treats for re-call as opposed to all the other training (chopped up puppy sausage... it works wonders!)

And Hogan's newest trick - speaking! (Not sure if i'm going to regret this one or not yet!!!)

Apparently teaching "speak" is the first step to teaching "quiet". Good work!

I was going to say...Dax used to bark alot at the other dogs when they had something he wanted...when he was around 10 weeks old I taught him to speak. Now he doesn't bark a whole lot. Its great haha, you wont regret it :)

He is so sweet! I just want to snuggle him up - I wish we had time for a puppy, but the baby will be here in less than 2 weeks, so I imagine it will be a while before we have the time for a puppy. Enjoy this time while it lasts! He really is growing up so fast and he is so handsome! I love seeing the pics and vidoes - keep them coming!!!
