Well Hogan is now 12 weeks and he is officially a nutter !

He disappeared off this morning into the bathroom - I walked in to find this...

Then when I picked him up out of the bath, he does this!

I actually have no idea why he's doing it as he's never done it before - although I've given him 2 baths - each time I put Kong Stuffin round the edge for him to lick off so now he loves having a bath - but does anyone elses dog still play in the bath while it's empty?!

My guys 11 months old and always in the tub anytime I can't find him I check the bathrooms and bingo, puppy! It's a good sign he'll do well when it comes to water work. Enjoy this it's a very special time.

Mine will not go into the bath tub! I have to drag them into the bathroom and pick them up and put them into the tub! They don't like getting baths!

I like your idea of putting kong stuffing all around. I tried giving treats and they wouldn't even eat them! I may try putting the kong stuffing all around and then just putting them in the tub with water and not actually bathing them and see if I can get them a bit more happy about bath time!

First is it possible that a critter could get under you tube? If so, he might be hearing and/or smelling it. Just something to think about. We were staying in a cabin and my dogs went nutty over a closet. Turned out it was on the outside wall and a small cat was living up in that outside wall. When the cat was home, they would go nuts trying to go through the wall.

As for baths, I have a big walking shower where I bathe my gang. When I remodeled my bath I actually enlarged and designed the shower with dog bathes in mind. Halo and Ringo love bathes, Belle just tolerates baths. I have only ever bathed Ringo in the bathtub and that was when my shower was out of commission. He was pretty indifferent to being in the tub. He has tried to get in the tub with me a couple of times though. Belle and Halo also went through a period when they were younger when they too thought taking a bath with mom might be fun.

in my household I can't use the "B" word when asking the kids to get cleaned up... Namely because the beast will race them to the bathroom and stand in the tub until he gets sprayed. I took him to the kennel last year during my trip and warned them about this... they didn't believe me.. he jumped INTO the dog bath while they were grooming another dog.

Splat - i'm not sure where I read it, might have even been on here. It worked a treat - he LOVES going in there now as you can see!

Texas Belle, I did wonder if there was a mouse or something underneath, but it's very unlikely as the bath is all sealed off with no gaps etc or ways for anything to get in.
