The muzzle is on simply to stop her eating EVERYTHING and then throwing it all up again in the night.

We woke up to more snow this morning.

This is Absynthe a 10 month old great dane, they have a blast together and they insist on playing on the muck heap!

Eeeeeek, what's that?

and what's that over there?

Great picts! GSPs are terrible about putting everything in their mouth. Glad the muzzle is working.

Oooh i love great dane's and he's got lovely markings. I wonder when they stop growing?!
She looks like she's having a blast and not hindered by the muzzle at all. Must be a big weight off your mind.
Bummer bout the snow though :-(

we bought the exact same muzzle for Raz, to deal with the same problem. Does Baira mind it? We actually haven't used it yet ...

I have been wondering if you tried the muzzle and had hoped it was going good! My friend said her GSP ate a pair of underwear and luckily pooped them out!

Love the dogs playing together, but them checking out the goats is precious!

carlower1 - Not a power chewer but a power eater - LOL She just hoovers up anything in her path, she doesn't even stop to see what it is first!

Splat - She ate a sock once and some how managed to pass it, I had to pull it out the other end as she was struggling....yuck!

everbell - she wasn't too impressed with the muzzle at first and tried to take it off. She succeded a few times so I made it tighter, probably a little too tight, just to keep it on and everytime she tried to take it off I would just tell her NO and LEAVE IT. She's used to it now, doesn't bother her at all and I fit it looser again as she doesn't try to take it off.

CL66 - Absynthe is such a character, when I go into the office to sit down he gets up on the couch next to me and watches the tv with great inerest and if I look at him (nose to nose because he's RIGHT next to me) he looks at me as if to say "what!" and he leans something terrible and he's such a weight to have leaning on you - LOL Yes this muzzle is a weight off my mind. Whereas before I had to constantly watch her and keep her by my side I now don't worry about where she is as I know she can't eat anything. Even although I kept a close eye on her before she still managed to eat enough to make herself sick. I saw her trying to eat some bread through it the other day, it was very funny to watch but, she soon gave up and continued playing with Absynthe.

Good to know the muzzle is effective against poop hoovering. Since Raz will be going back to the breeder's for a little while (hoping to get her knocked up :)) we'll try again when she is back with us permanently.
